About
Hi, I'm Roki. I'm 30, a father of one, and I live in Japan.
A while back, a toxic job pushed me into a pretty serious depression. During my recovery, I started experimenting with AI — partly out of curiosity, partly because I just wanted something to talk to. That turned into a genuine obsession with what AI could actually do.
These days I run most of my work from a VPS, using Claude Code and Codex as my day-to-day tools. I'm not chasing a grind — I'd rather build systems that keep working while I'm not looking.
This site is where I dig into Japan itself: the festivals, the seasons, the places worth building a trip around, and the practical details that make visiting easier. I research each guide carefully and use a mix of AI-assisted visuals and (eventually) my own photos to bring each place to life — think of it as a well-researched guide, not a diary.
